Labrador Training Specialists

Welcome to Auchencloch Labradors. We are a professional training establishment based in the beautiful rural hills of Central Scotland.

We specialise in breeding and training Labradors for the shooting field or as fantastic family pets. All our dogs are fully health tested.

I started training dogs when I was 14 and ran in my first trial on my 16th birthday. I was lucky enough to come away with 1st place. That was me well and truly bitten by the bug!

Since then, I am on my fifth generation of Field Trial winning Labradors.

I have represented Scotland on 9 occasions. I have been a member of the winning Scottish team at the 2019 Skinners World Cup and have also been top Scottish dog at the Scottish Inter Club on two occasions.

As well as trialling and running in Tests, I regularly pick up with the dogs on various shoots throughout Scotland. We believe having a very well trained dog for competition is very important. However, I do think that the dog must be a working dog primarily and a competition dog second.
